Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of a multi-site Region. Assures quality patient services and outcomes and facilitates operational processes in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the quality and appropriateness of services and staffing as well as their availability to meet patient care needs.
2. Keeps current in all fields of federal, state and insurance rules, regulations and reimbursement criteria and assists in keeping staff updated and in compliance with such regulations.
3. Interprets and translates agency policies and procedures to staff.
4. Works with the VP of Homecare and local Leadership team in identifying areas of needed improvement, formulates a plan of action, and follows up on deficiencies needing correction
5. Supervises and evaluates local Leadership and provides leadership, coaching, mentoring and on the job training in identified areas.
6. Facilitates problem solving of service operations.
7. Conducts training programs when necessary.
8. Oversees staffing needs for the Region.
9. Performs disciplinary functions up to, and including, employee terminations.
10. Assists with denials and appeals and implements necessary training programs on compliance issues, and reimbursable documentation.

Required :
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Minimum of one year home health care experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience.
• Management experience in a team oriented environment
• Valid Michigan driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
Preferred:
• MSN or Master's degree in a healthcare/management related field
