Scope:
Responsible assist our Food & Beverage team with COGS, inventory planning, and gross margin reporting/analysis for our portfolio of clubs.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review financial data to identify in the month trends that need correction.Review Avendra Data to work with Clubs on correcting buying habits for better Tier PricingAbility to review labor forecast and labor trends in the month and work with DHs at each club to make corrections.Need Time management skills to have weekly F&B Focused Asset calls with selected clubs.Provide monthly F&B Watch list reports for all discipline areas (NET/Flow-Flex/Individual COGS/OPX/Labor/Revenue)Create a High-Risk Club Analysis and be able to write an Action Plan to systematically correct negative trend.Month end reviews of all LBW and Food Inventories in relation to our SOPs.In collaboration with SVP, set required Weekly or Bi-monthly inventories for any property not meeting our requirements. Review on calls these True COGS percentages and create additional Action Plans for correction.Must understand F&B operations and processes.Review costed out Food menus to make sure that the Theoretical Cogs is in alignment with our SOPSystematically review beverage program for every club to highlight opportunities for price increase.Perform purchase analysis for every Club and recommend change to lower FCReview controls for daily BI/EI for all satellite sales areas to lower shrinkageQualifications:
3-5 years in FP&A / corporate finance / investment banking / supply chain managementUndergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred.Ability to quickly consume the data from the Clubs checkbook and articulate change needed per written action plans for all clubs.Strong understanding of F&B purchasing.Industry experience in retail or consumer products, with COGS & inventory planning, manufacturing accounting, supply chain management preferred.High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint. Experience working with data visualization tools and data cubes is a plus.Excellent communication / collaboration skills required; role involves building strong relationships across the organization.Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines.Prior experience with financial planning toolsAbility to prioritize based on clear understanding of unique business and learning needs that produce highest value to the organization at an enterprise level.Balance of business acumen, high emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skillsTeam player who also likes to have some fun at work.
