Serves as the administrative leader for Child Well-being (CWB) and Community Health & Education (CHE) and in partnership with the designated medical and operational leadership, leads the organization and delivery of high-quality services to fulfill the mission of Children's Wisconsin (CW). Initiates, plans and leads projects to enhance reliability, standardization, cost reduction, compliance, efficiency, and risk management, both within CWB/CHE and across CW. Ensures compliance with contract requirements and acts as a resource to Legal Services and Corporate Compliance on federal- and state-specific contractual requirements. Identifies and implements initiatives to increase revenue streams and improve financial results, strategic alignment and operational efficiencies in CWB and CHE programs. Serves as the CWB and CHE Division leader on various CW teams for both limited-term and ongoing projects and purposes.
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work or related field or Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.5 years' experience in current medical or social service environment, non-profit funding requirements, non-profit accounting and general administration.5 years' experience in a combination of financial services, facilities and project management, information systems support and systems design, contract review and negotiation, and operations management over multiple locations and/or facilitiesDemonstrated experience and expertise in the areas of large, complex systems of care, strategy, operations and partnership.Advanced analytical and decision-making skills necessary to organize, develop and manage a multi-faceted services division with multiple service locations across the State of Wisconsin.Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attentiveness to detail required.Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Requires knowledge of all key granting agency guidelines and policies or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply this knowledge.Demonstrated consulting and advising abilities to develop plans, facilitate creative solutions, interpret data, develop and align vendor management and contracting.Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to operations and facilities.Demonstrated comfort in working with staff and leaders at all levels of an organization as well as external community stakeholders, funders and service providers.Ability to present and speak publicly about not only the financial and operational aspects of the organizations, but also about the services provided.Demonstrated skill and experience in the development and implementation of organizational strategic plans for financial performance.Advanced ability to formulate reports, perform statistical analysis and interpret statistical data.
