Position Purpose:
The Senior Analyst, Field Solutions position is responsible for being the bridge between Field Merchandising and IPR. The senior analyst will support a division's field merchandising leaders, and the corresponding IPR Sr. Director. The analyst should be able to operate in a fast-paced retail environment. Requires regular interface with IPR Sr. Analysts and Analysts as well as IPR leadership, and cross functional peers to provide statistical analysis that will enable more accurate decision-making in support of division initiatives. The analyst will also identify key divisional trends, develop sustainable solutions, and implement across the locational hierarchy as needed. This role will address root cause of issues for sustainable solutions in the division. The analyst's primary goal is to identify unique divisional trends and project opportunities to drive sustainable solutions, provide proactive and transparent communication, and provide consistent conduit from field to SSC. The key success metrics are a decreased field tickets/email requests (fix root cause/create sustainability), increased field VOC, and strategic project specific KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
50% Strategic/Special Projects
Manage projects across all divisions/depts. (HVS, Pro, New Store, Storms, offshore, etc.)
Responsible for identifying key divisional trends, developing sustainable solutions, and implementing across the applicable locational hierarchy.
25% Manage incoming requests from divisional FDMM/RMM
Field incoming requests from RMM and FDMM and provide support for strategic requests down to market-level and reviews related to inventory.
15% Divisional Strategy
Identify division specific areas of opportunity, fix root cause.
Standard and Ad-Hoc reporting/Root Cause Analysis.
Deep dive and address sustainable root cause/solutions.
10% Communication/Executive Support (Div Ps/RVPs)
Support Division Presidents in absence of SDO.
Develop proactive view of business trends to address with field.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
This position reports to the Manager, Field Solutions.
This position has no direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred.
2 years of previous experience in Inventory Management systems and principles and/or Supply Chain.
Highly analytical, with experience in process improvement.
Previous work experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Merchandising (previous retail experience would be valued).
Candidate must have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working understanding of retail forecasting principles and systems clear understanding of inventory replenishment strategies.
Ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data. Extensive work in Google Cloud, Tableau, Microsoft Excel.
Strong quantitative skills through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
