ACP is actively seeking a full-time or part-time community-based mental health therapist to assess and address the needs of our diverse clients in and around the Twin Cities metro. We are looking for a clinician with a passion for working with youth ages 6-18 and their families. This is an amazing opportunity for those needing relational hours!
ACP's community-based therapists meet clients where they are at - literally and figuratively. We recognize the importance of supporting children and families in their home environment as they work towards productive participation, skill building and improved family dynamics.This role is an excellent opportunity for those with a master's degree in behavioral health studies or a related field and on track to become aLicensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
ACP provides free individual and group clinical supervision from board-approved supervisors.

Responsibilities:Complete diagnostic assessments and develop custom treatment plans focused on individual and family goals.
Develop therapeutic relationships with children and their parents/guardians to establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with clients.
Collaborate and coordinate services with community partners including case managers, medical personnel, school staff, and others.
Requirements:Master's or other graduate degrees in psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related fields from an accredited college or university
On track to be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
Ability to work late afternoons and early evenings as needed to meet youth and their families in a home or community setting.
Mental stability and ability to model appropriate ethics and boundaries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Timely, accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance, plus a willingness to travel within the Twin Cities metro area.
