Responsibilities
Oversee overall client experiences including deadline management/client expectationsCalculate tax effects of transactions, conduct technical tax research, and manage tax partner expectationsHandle billing/WIP managementOperate in a dynamic environment, coach staff/seniors/managers, and share your knowledge and experience with the entire teamCoordinate multiple engagement teams' schedules and deadlinesReview the tax returns and manage tax workflowQualifications

Positive attitude and willingness to be a team playerExcellent time and project management skillsMaintaining and developing strong relationships with clients to meet or exceed their expectationsProficiency in partnership allocations and an understanding of partnership waterfall calculationsA practical understanding of tax credits and incentives including 1031 exchanges, 704(b) allocations, 704 (c) allocations, and target capital account allocationsProficiency in juggling multiple priorities while managing internal and external stakeholdersWillingness and ability to learn new concepts with minimal guidanceEnthusiasm for coaching and developing team membersRequirements :
Bachelor's Degree requiredCPA or JD required at the manager level5+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firmExcellent leadership and organizational skillsStrong external and internal communication required, due to client facing role and importance of strong partnership with internal engagement teamsUnderstanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc. RequiredStrong understanding of CCH Axcess requiredInitiative to learn, ask questions, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quoDevelop strong relationships internally, and flexibility are required and keys to successExperience assisting clients with life events for partnerships, inside and outside basis computations, section 704(c) and section 743(b) computations, and Schedule K-1 processingExperience advising clients on a variety of tax issues, including impact of Tax Reform on passthroughs and other Real Estate clients, business restructuring, and tax controversySolid understanding of real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, operating agreement interpretation, waterfall calculations, targeted capital account calculations, debt allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring, and experience with federal tax compliance, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax analysis, and tax research.Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - 155,000*
