Buffalo Framing & Truss, LLC has helped build Central Texas for over 30 years by providing turnkey framing, trusses, and wall panels for single-family and multifamily developments. We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our diverse team in Austin, Texas. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented accounting professional with strong leadership skills looking for growth and development. The Accounting Supervisor will be work out of our office in Pflugerville and report to the Director of Finance and manage 2-3 direct reports.
Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the month-end close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial transaction processing and reporting. This position will partner Operations, Manufacturing, HR, and IT to develop business process improvements and key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement variance analysis, and monthly internal and external financial reporting.Ensure accurate transactional accounting and financial reporting.Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all financial-related information.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and procurement, to improve financial processes and reporting.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results, including internal reporting and providing insights to the management team.Work closely with the Director of Finance to analyze financial results, develop budgets, and forecast financial performance.Work closely with the IT team on ERP and other technology implementations to drive system improvements to enhance accounting accuracy and efficiency.Develop and build out SOP's for the accounting department.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.Ability to read, understand, and interpret financial documents and contracts.Experience with Agility (our ERP system) would be ideal, but not required.Proficient in MS Office with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.Experience with ERP systems, Agility preferred, but not required.Experience in project management and/or process improvement.Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.The ability to handle confidential matters with discretion is required.Spanish language skills are not required but would be considered a plus.Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of time working on a computer.Ability to lift 15 pounds.Benefits:
