Your Future Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance and Real Estate team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of preliminary and final payroll reports, managing various accounting functions, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and team leadership.
What You'll DoPrepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations, primarily dealing with payroll related activities, with superior attention to detail and critical evaluation of outcomes.Proactively review payroll and general ledger transaction details throughout the month to streamline month-end close timelines, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information recordedIndependently resolve payroll and accounting discrepancies and irregularitiesAssess variable compensation and implement a systematic approach to the calculation of the related expensesAssist with the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory filingsSupport annual financial audits, ensuring all audit requirements and inquiries are met in a timely and accurate mannerStreamline financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy, implementing best practices to optimize financial operationsPropose improvements to internal controls to mitigate risks and maintain complianceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and information flow across the organizationWhat You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA Certification Preferred2 + years of payroll related experience preferredMinimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiredStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).Proficient in accounting software (ERP systems)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsWhat We Offer
