Job Title: Senior Contracts Analyst
Location: Lanham, MD (on-site)
Job Type: 3 Month Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Contracts Analyst to join our Contracts and Procurement team. The Senior Contracts Analyst will interface between the Program Management Organization (PMO), and our client's infrastructure teams, and the government customers. This is a highly visible role that requires serving as a primary point of contact for the customer Contracting Officer, interfacing between the contract PMO and infrastructure, and working as a team member with the PMO, Group Leads, Task Leads, and technical personnel to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary point of contact for the customer Contracting Officer including responding to requests for task plans, responding to proposal journal entries.• Interface between the contract PMO and client's infrastructure to help provide direction, set priorities, and check status for staff responsible for finance, export control, facilities, health and safety, purchasing, subcontracting, and general administration and infrastructure functions across the contract.• Work as team member with the PMO, Group Leads, Task Leads, and technical personnel to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.• Develop, document, and mature Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines for Program Management Processes.• Maintain contract files/contract task plan cost estimates.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or other related business discipline; and 15 years of management experience including at least 7+ years in the federal contracting environment.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Familiarity with MS Office, including Word and Excel.• Working knowledge of multiple contract types.• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).• Solid understanding of cost data and the need for confidentiality of proprietary information is required.
Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of federal procurement processes desired.• Experience with NASA Form 533, Deltek CostPoint, and the Buy American Act.• Experience supporting NASA programs.
