Position Summary:ConsultNet is recruiting for a Contracts Associate on behalf of our client, who is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee and ensure compliance across a variety of contract agreements. This role requires a well-organized individual with experience in government contracting and a thorough understanding of federal contracting practices and company procedures.
The position is focused on supporting both internal teams and external partners across all functions related to contract management.
Key Duties:Contract Management & Support :
ct as a point of contact for project leads, contract managers, and contracting officers, handling inquiries on project scope, security needs, financial requirements, reporting, and overall contract support.Recordkeeping & Compliance:
Ensure accurate and detailed records for contracts and procurement files.Process and review essential documents including contract modifications, change orders, and invoices.Validate billing information for compliance with contractual terms and accuracy before submission for payment.Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and share monthly internal and external reports, including project updates and backlog status.Draft various communications and official correspondence as needed.dditional Responsibilities:
Contribute to special projects and complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership.Requirements:
Skills & Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of U.S. Government contract flow-down clauses and procurement regulations.Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and CPSR practices.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Strong analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation abilities.bility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Experience :
minimum of 4 years in a government contracting role with a focus on compliance and process management.Hands-on experience with the Deltek Costpoint ERP system and related financial modulesEducation:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Preferred: Additional coursework or certification in contract management.
