DESCRIPTION OF WORK You'll have the opportunity to complete audits and audit related activities, including but not limited to agreed-upon procedures, performance and financial/related audits, special reviews and other various assignments under a variety of Federal, state and agency laws, policies, rules and regulations, programs and operational methods.
This is a supervisory level position that receives general and specific assignments from the Audit Manager. In this supervisor role, you'll ensure completion of assignments by directing a staff of professional auditors and reviewing the work performed to confirm it's in compliance with objectives, accepted auditing standards and procedures established by management. You will also ensure desk reviews (prequalifications, preawards, and overheads) are completed in compliance with performance standards, including ensuring adequate communication of consultant/contractor deficiencies, as well as completing and reviewing the desk reviews as needed. They will also coordinate the audit work of the audit teams, including administration of computer systems activities, e.g. passwords, systems access, etc.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. This is a travel position. Overnight travel is required. Travel expenses will be paid. This position will be headquartered in a District or County office in the county closest to the selected candidate's home that meets business needs and has available space. One year as an Audit Specialist 2; or Three years of professional auditing experience and a bachelor's degree including or supplemented by eighteen [18] credits in accounting and auditing; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which included the required eighteen [18] credits in accounting and auditing.
