DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This Clerical Assistant 3 performs a variety of clerical duties to support our referee staff for hearings, decisions, public contact, and general office work. You will review incoming appeals to determine the type of hearing to be held, associate and organize dockets based on type of claim and issue of law, and manage the referee's hearing schedule within statute and regulatory requirements, established procedures, and timeliness guidelines. Work involves preparing and proofreading hearing notices, referee decisions, and correspondence as well as transcribing from digital recordings and maintaining electronic and paper files. You will also receive client inquiries via telephone call, email, or in person about exhibits, documents, or procedures and provide appropriate and tactful responses. This position also inputs data into various computer record keeping and tracking systems as well as performs other office work as needed. Further your clerical career with our team!

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours are negotiable. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week, after the successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bristol, PA. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
