DESCRIPTION OF WORK SERS seeks an individual to provide clerical office support and serve as a receptionist in our Bensalem Regional Counseling Center. This person is responsible to greet and assist visitors of SERS, which include active and retired members; answer questions of a general nature concerning retirement, supplemental benefits eligibility, and benefit processing timeframes; and answer the main telephone lines and/or transfer calls to appropriate staff members.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Work hours are 08:00 to 16:30, with a one-hour unpaid meal period, 11:30 - 12:30. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home part-time (hybrid telework schedule), up to two days a week, depending on operational needs and progress in learning assigned tasks. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Otherwise, you must work on-site at the work location specified in this job posting. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
