Position Summary:
The SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful coordination and execution of the financial reporting process, including SEC reporting on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K and Proxy Statement. Additionally, the manager will conduct research, assist in implementing new accounting guidance, and document accounting policies. Other duties include assisting with purchase accounting for acquired businesses.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, including balance sheet, income statement, statement of shareholders' equity, statement of cash flows, footnotes, etc.
Assist with SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K and Proxy Statement
Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned
Prepare quarterly and annual asset impairment analyses
Assist with purchase accounting calculations for acquisitions and integration of the acquired company into monthly and quarterly processes
Monitor the activities of accounting standard setting bodies
Research, evaluate, and prepare new accounting policies, as needed, and provide functional guidance regarding the implementation of new accounting policies and the implementation of new accounting standards
Support the external audit process, including preparation of client-prepared schedules and maintenance of financial reporting process documentation
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
• 5 - 7 years of corporate financial reporting experience and/or public accounting experience with significant exposure to external reporting requirements
• CPA Required
