Cyber Security Analyst - Senior
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits

Summary
Armison Tech is seeking a motivated, experienced senior cyber security analyst. A successful candidate will be adept at information operations analysis from large network devices and systems, be familiar with operational security concerns, and have the ability to work independently while researching and executing queries related to the latest threat reports. This role involves a blend of networking, scripting, and security experience and requires working on-site in a client environment, with approximately 30% to 40% travel.
Job Requirements
Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Demonstrate experience creating or modifying scripts (Python, Bash, etc...) to perform queries on large data sets.
Knowledge of stand-alone automated configuration management systems (e.g.: Chef Solo, Ansible, Kickstart).
Knowledge of IT defensive best practices.
Analyze and evaluate network and system activity.
Demonstrate experience with Ansible, Wireguard, Docker, and Cloud Infrastructure.
Ability to use Linux distributions and command line for system administration purposes.
Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP network configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnoses.
Experience with tool testing.
Experience collaborating with several teams across multiple data sets with different reporting needs, plus the ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
Desired experience with penetration testing tools.
Desired experience with web frameworks and server scripting languages.
Desired experience with Windows Defender and Windows OS.
Desired experience with software development and writing web and desktop applications.
Education & Experience
Requires a Bachelor's of Science in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Requires seven (7) years of specific experience
Masters of Science preferred
