Responsibilities:
Monitor security alerts and incidents across various platforms and systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing necessary actions to mitigate risks.
Manage and maintain security platforms, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and endpoint security solutions.
Perform regular security testing, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits, to identify and address weaknesses in our infrastructure and applications.
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and solutions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and provide recommendations for enhancing our security posture.
Conduct security awareness training for employees to educate them about security best practices and raise awareness of potential risks.
Participate in incident response drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of our security measures and improve our incident response capabilities.
Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of our systems and operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in IT security roles, with a focus on security operations and incident response.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security technologies.
Experience with security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), antivirus software, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) are preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
