Responsibilities & Qualifications
Location:
Duluth, GA for local candidates, will allow remote work from anywhere in the U.S. for candidates outside of Atlanta metro area.What will I be doing?Design and implement robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines for Primerica’s software projects, ensuring efficient and reliable code deployments. Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging services from major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Monitor/maintain performance and security of our applications, identifying and resolving any infrastructure-related issues. Evaluate/adopt new technologies to enhance the development and deployment workflow.Requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or related role.Must have experience in: applying agile development methodologies to perform automation of infrastructure/application build/deployment/releases; implementing customized cloud infrastructure by monitoring and downgrading/deleting under-utilized resources; applying Software Configuration Management principles/practices to improve productivity; using Terraform and/or Ansible to minimize configuration drift; building and managing AWS Cloud infrastructure and its security; and architecting/designing the CI/CD pipeline process per company’s requirements.FLSA Status:
