In this exciting opportunity, the Senior Database Administrator will play a crucial role in modifying and optimizing existing databases, collaborating within project teams, and estimating project requirements. They will contribute to the advancement of business initiatives through code reviews, testing, and documentation of best practices, demonstrating leadership in a small team environment.Responsibilities:Modify existing databases and management systems.Write logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers to the management system.Coordinate with project teams to determine scope and limitations.Estimate time and cost for project completion.Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in troubleshooting and making system changes.Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.Familiarity with XML, Java, JSP, and relevant software.8+ years of relevant experience.Expertise in troubleshooting skills.Experience with Big Data Hadoop Ecosystem (Sqoop, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Impala, Kafka), Python, JupyterHub, RStudio, SQL, Oracle.Ability to apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives.Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
