Agility Partners is seeking qualified applicants to fill an open Software Engineer position for a Healthcare company that drives better health outcomes by uniting technology and clinical relationships through a connected healthcare network. This engineer will support and maintain legacy software while delivering incremental improvements. Work collaboratively with peer engineers and business stakeholders, balancing quality work and implementing best practices against business demands.Responsibilities
Work in a Scrum environment developing full-stack web applications and scripts.Participation and ownership in all stages of the development process: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.Passionate about knowledge sharing and has the skills to help develop and advance the team through mentorship.Perform challenging work in designing, writing, modifying, and debugging software applications and services.Design and write high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.Learn new technologies and integrate them with our infrastructure.Debug complex issues.Update and modify systems to improve efficiency and scalability.Work closely with the Product Owner in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.Develop, test, document, and maintain web applications and scripts.Comfortable with large projects in source control, continuous integration and writing unit tests and integration tests.Design, develop and implement solutions around both micro-service and monolithic architectures.Benefits and Perks

The ideal candidate would bring the following:Must be local to Columbus and willing to work onsite 3 days per week (M/T/Th).5+ years of experience working as a Java full stack or backend software engineer.Technical skills:Java.Springboot.MySQL or PostgreSQL or SQL Server.Any modern front-end technologies.AWS nice to have.Experience with practices like test-driven development, paired programming, CI/CD, etc. highly desired.Must have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
