About The Client
My client is a leading company specializing in laser processing systems, continuously innovating to enhance precision, efficiency, and technological capabilities.
The team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our hardware to meet diverse customer requirements.
Your Role
Develop, test, and maintain software solutions for their laser processing systems.
Design software solutions in C# for customized machines and guide these projects from initial concept to final release.
Take ownership of specific software modules and ensure their seamless integration.
Work collaboratively in agile teams with software developers and colleagues from other technical departments, from requirement gathering to solution implementation.
Conduct error analysis on existing systems and develop strategies for resolving them.
Coordinate with external development partners and stakeholders to align on project goals.
Document your work in Confluence and Jira to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
Degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, engineering informatics, mechatronics, or a related field.
Several years of experience in C# or another object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, or Python.
Familiarity with modern development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and experience using ticket systems.
Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
Independent, structured approach to work.
Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Skills:
Works with clean code.
Experience with DevExpress, WPF, DI/IOC containers, or HALCON.
Knowledge of .NET framework and test automation or CI/CD tools (e.g., MSTest, NUnit, Azure DevOps).
Willingness to travel occasionally (about 15 days per year).
Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
