Integrated Sensors Architecture (ISA) enables sensors and systems of any type to readily integrate into an existing network and dynamically share information and capabilities to improve situational awareness in a battlefield environment. ISA connects common standards and protocols, which support a net-centric system-of-systems integration. The ISA material solution is managed by the US Army PEO IEW&S as part of the Sensor Computing Environment. QinetiQ US is looking to hire a Sr. Systems Architect to support our ISA team. This is a part time position, expected to require around 20 hours of work per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for the logical and systematic transformation of customer interoperability enterprise standards using the best of Enterprise Architecture (EA) processes and techniques.This position involves an expert understanding of the 1) DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF 2.02) and 2) Application of Enterprise Architecture methods and techniques to the various stakeholders.Responsibilities

Independently manage and monitor tasks as directed from the PEO IEW&S Integration Directorate and designeesCreate and publish DoDAF Architectural Artifacts in coordination with other US Army/DoD Enterprise and Systems ArchitectsInterface with the customer on all processes involved in systems architecture standards and interoperability.Collaborate with other Department of the other AFC PEO Directorates, Army CIO, Joint Staff, DISA, Component/Joint Commands, NSA and other Federal agencies as required to design, catalog, depict and publish US Army/ DoD Enterprise Architecture (EA) using DoDAF methodologyUnderstand and follow the DoDAF, CJADC2 and other key DoD/Joint architecture planning instructionsCapture the current, “as-is” architecture for DOD and DA information networks and associated data centers by developing logical and physical maps to facilitate effective lifecycle managementServe as a top level technical or functional expert in Enterprise ArchitectureProvide technical experience to coordinate activities to ensure stakeholders are aligned to meet PEO IEW&S goalsReview and assess the impact of DoD, Military Service, Joint, DISA, or IC proposed capability architectures or architecture guidance on the DoD/DA EAPrepare mature products for dissemination at high level briefsAssist with knowledge management of overall division projects and strategy to ensure cohesion of effortEstablish effective communication with internal and external stakeholdersRequired Qualifications

BS/BA from an accredited college or university in an engineering or relevant technical discipline OR associate’s degree and additional experience in relevant field may be substituted for a BS/BACertification in, or significant familiarity with the DoDAF Architectural Framework and SysML tools such as Magic DrawMinimum of 8 years of experience in an Enterprise Architecture role, or relevant Systems/Solutions Architecture, Network Design or similar positionsAbility to complete tasks within required timeframe with no supervisionExpert at use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio and ProjectExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to changePreferred Qualifications
