This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing software solutions that address real-world challenges within the foodservice industry. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.What You’ll DoPlan, manage, and execute small core or derivative programs by defining project objectives, creating project plans, and establishing timelines and milestones.Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to implementation and deployment.Write well-documented, clean, and maintainable code using industry best practices.Contribute to design and architecture discussions, offering innovative solutions and ideas.Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, programming languages, and industry trends.Who You AreIndependent Self-Starter:

Using creative and logical thinking to devise effective solutions.Required QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a relevant engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Hardware, Software) at an accredited university.Familiarity with software development tools, such as code editors, compilers, etc. (e.g., GitHub, Vim, Jira, etc.) or other engineering tools and applications.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug software issues.Effective communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in software engineering and technology.Previous internship, personal projects, or coursework related to software design is advantageous.DurationThis internship position is a 10-week program, starting May 2025.
