Under limited supervision, responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, and support aspects of multi-layered enterprise applications. This includes designing and developing new libraries, components, applications, services, or integrations as well as enhancing existing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and working with the appropriate resources to deliver solutions. Explores emerging technologies and anticipates industry disruption. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and conforms to coding standards. The Software Engineer II will be responsible for developing and maintaining data processing software, data modeling, pipelines, transformations, related databases, and supporting infrastructure:Knowledge

Demonstrable knowledge of the current application development techniques, such as object-oriented and client/server is preferred.Professional experience writing software across multiple layers of the application stack (front-end, back-end, database technology and data) is preferred.Experience in a team-oriented cross-functional work environment that involves formal structures, roles, and responsibilities is preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field with 3-5 years of experience.Familiarity with and implementation of dimensional data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts.Ability to build and optimize data sets, data pipelines/integrations, and architectures.Must be proficient with SQL for development and analysis.Strong hands-on knowledge of API integration using services such as AWS Lambda, Mulesoft, SSIS, or Confluent.Sourcing complex data from numerous sources for central processing and analysis within a data lake ecosystem (ETL / ELT).SQL Server 2019, Python experience.
