Oversees the design, development, and implementation of distributed, multi-tier software applications across a specific enterprise platform. Understanding of multiple web application integration points, interdependencies, and standard data exchange and control protocols. Take ownership of deliverables from conception through deployment, setting up environments and documenting release notes, technical details, functionality, and configuration. Should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the web development field and have working knowledge of J2EE (Java, JSP, JDBC, and frameworks), UI/UX technologies, JavaScript frameworks, Web Services (REST, SOAP), Containerization (Docker, OpenShift), and internet protocols. Familiarity with DevOps practices and other technologies necessary for web development.Requirements
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Experience and marketing technologies. Experience with third party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols; understanding of Internet software engineering principles and techniques; proficiency with web infrastructure including web servers, application servers, containerization;Knowledge of J2EE (Java, JSP, JDBC, and frameworks), UI/UX technologies, JavaScript frameworks, Web Services (REST, SOAP);Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; knowledge of Internet hardware, software and firewall set up;Understanding of multi-threaded programming, transaction isolation strategies, and deadlock avoidance; familiarity with caching strategies and J2EE framework challenges; familiarity with Content Management/Content Delivery, Social Media Integrations, and Digital Wallet/On-line Payment Technologies;Ability to articulate both marketing and IT needs/issues to all groups; good knowledge of Digital Marketing techniques;Ability to interact well with team members and business users; excellent project management skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills.Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering or mathematics and at least 10 years technical, analytical, systems and programming experience.
