Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) within the NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER on the Navy ERP Sustainment Planning & Supply Team in 9823. Responsibilities You will partner with government and vendor associates in building and integration of monthly Supply Planning/Allowancing packages. You will research regulations, standards, and policies to ensure that all work products are in compliance and recommend changes as necessary. You will conduct feasibility studies to determine the best way to proceed with projects from an Information Technology (IT) standpoint. You will complete systems testing to ensure proper functionality and take steps to correct any errors or problems. You will create, modify, and maintain functional and/or design documents. You will respond to and resolve Navy ERP service requests as part of the Readiness Service Center (RSC). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of systems analysis and design to independently develop and maintain complete systems and applications and ensure functional requirements are met. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Creating and/or modifying functional or design documents such as: Operational Concept Documents (OCD), Project Transmittals, Requirements Specifications (RSs), System Flowcharts, User/Implementation Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); 2) Planning and coordinating feasibility studies to determine Information Technology (IT) requirements; 3) Developing a design approach that is consistent with law, security, and privacy regulations; 4) Performing functional Navy ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) diagnostics, analytics, and corrections; and 5) Providing technical advice and assistance by managing, identifying, and solving issues in a ticketing system; 6) Facilitating cross-team coordination, tracking, and following up on external dependencies. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
