We deliver value through technical and managerial expertise – innovation, efficient processes, executable strategies, and methodologies that generate tangible and measurable results to our clients across the Federal, Civilian and DoD sectors.Raye IT is looking for an IT Governance Lead to support a federal client located in Alexandria, VA. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to affect enterprise-level initiatives and support decision-making for senior executives in a rapidly changing environment. The IT Governance Lead will work closely with the OCIO and Division Branch Chief to review and develop IT Policies and review legislation. The chosen candidate will provide effective communications related to Congressional inquiries and/or other agency reporting requirements, developing technical recommendations and deliverables identified by OCIO leadership for effective messaging to amplify the response.Responsibilities:Provide strategic support for IT Governance (such as change management) and coordinated/strategize with agency thought partners on future directions for IT Governance.Implement the Enterprise IT Governance Framework with various governance boards and domains.Training governance boards on roles and responsibilities.Build, automate, and manage IT governance workflows and processes.Recommend modifications to IT governance processes, tools, and reports to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the IT governance program.Manage the data and artifact workflow to ensure that IT investment reviews are completed promptly and efficiently.Create and update OCIO policy documents using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Develop meeting agendas, slide decks and basic meeting materials in advance of meetings.Develop weekly updates on work accomplished and upcoming tasks for various reporting mechanisms as to outreach and office activities, as requested.As necessary, develop congressional hearings, briefings, legislation mark-up, and IT-related policies for senior OCIO leadership on IT Policy and Legislative matters.Required Skills:BA/BS degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years specialized experience in IT Governance.Familiarity with Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC).Capability to gather, organize, and analyze information and data from multiple sources.Prior experience assisting with implementing Enterprise IT Governance Framework.Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines, and to multitask in a challenging environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams.Ability to work independently.Experience with online meeting management and collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and Web-Ex.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Benefits at-a-glance:
