HRIS Senior Manager
to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HRIS, Dayforce. This role is critical in architecting the HRIS roadmap in support of the company’s HR strategies and operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HRIS management, strong project management, problem-solving skills, team leadership, and a deep understanding of HR processes.Responsibilities:Drive the growth of HRIS capabilities in support of business needs. Lead the administration and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations.Manage the implementation of new HRIS modules and upgrades, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.Develop and maintain HR metrics, reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within HR operations. Design and implement best practices and automated workflows.Provide expert guidance, consultation, and training to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities. Develop user manuals and training materials.Collaborate with HRIS vendors to address system integration issues, enhancements, and customizations. Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels are met.Ensure the HRIS complies with data protection regulations and internal security policies. Conduct regular audits to maintain system integrity.Lead HRIS-related projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.Supervise and mentor the HRIS team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Effectively translate strategy, goals, and requirements into pragmatic and actionable deliverables.Education/Experience:7-10 years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably with expertise in one or more HRIS platforms such as Dayforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar systems.Dayforce (Ceridian) preferred.Familiarity with XML, SQL, data visualization tools, and HR analytics a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.Technology and HR certification a plus (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR), but not required.Self-sufficient, highly organized, and detail-oriented.High level of customer service and consultative skills.Knowledge of HRIS and proficiency using Microsoft Office and relevant tools/technology.Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times.Ability to make recommendations that effectively resolve problems and/or issues by using judgment consistent with HR standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or governmental law.Knowledge of HR Best Practices.Benefits to Support Your Success:At BlueLinx, we believe in Delivering What Matters.
