Entry Level Architectural/Mechanical Engineer (Life Sciences)
The Life Sciences team at GBA is looking for entry level candidates to join our team in our headquarters office in Lenexa, Kansas (KC metro). Serving many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies, the Life Sciences group is an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers.
Project assignments include working on teams designing manufacturing facilities, research facilities, clean rooms, R&D/QA labs, and pilot plants. Entry-level Engineers work closely with GBA’s senior staff in the design of mechanical systems associated with pharmaceutical, industrial, warehouse, and office facilities.
Responsibilities:Design various mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, steam, hot water, and compressed airPrepare construction documents for various mechanical systemsReview shop drawings and RFIsVerification of permitting and code requirementsAssist with facility evaluation and engineering studiesAssist with troubleshooting and commissioningRequirements:BS in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering0 - 2 years of experience, including internship experienceAdept at working on fast-paced projectsREVIT proficiencyOrganizational skills with an attention to detailStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenInterest in working in a collaborative team environment
