If so, this opportunity is for you!Responsibilities:As an Applications Engineer in the Defense and Aerospace division Quality Engineering Group, you will:
Serve as a contributor in a software and product test group, developing applications and test cases targeting Teradyne test equipment to ensure our products meet our customers’ critical needs before they are released.Play a key role in the product development process by providing customer perspective to the design process.Assist cross-functional engineering teams in debugging discovered product defects.Provide technical support in product demonstrations.Stay on top of rapid changes in technology, assess the ramifications of these changes, advocate solutions, and support new product development.All About YouBasic Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
5+ years of experience in Test Development Engineering, Application Engineering, Systems Engineering or related engineering experience.Experience with programming of instrumentation or hardware in C/C++ or C#. Creating test program sets using C, C++, and/or C# required.Detailed knowledge of software test techniques, case modeling and automated test techniques required.Automatic Test Equipment knowledge preferred.Hardware instrumentation experience with PXI, LXI, VXI controlled test instruments and automated test systems preferred.Familiarity with C drivers for instrumentation, test equipment, or hardware.Experience with software development environments in Microsoft .NET Framework, and Visual Studio preferred.Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills.Process oriented and continuous improvement focused.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills across functional groups are needed to succeed in this position.Education:• Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree (BSEE, ECE, CS) or equivalent work experience.ITAR Restriction:
All candidates for this ITAR restricted position must be one of the following: US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.FOUO Designation:
