The Technology Group of The Federal Reserve Bank of NY is seeking an experienced Senior Appian BPM developer with moderate to strong hands-on Java development skills. This full-time contractor position is needed for Solutions Delivery - Core Systems that undertakes BPM application development projects for Corporate, Legal, Risk, Human Resources, Technology Group, Executive Office, and bank-wide transformation projects.Responsibilities:Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products (7-8 years of experience).Produce business process models and convert them into code, delivering prototypes rapidly.Build solutions and deliver mission-critical, fault-tolerant applications using Appian.Develop in Java/J2EE, Web Services, and RESTful services (3+ years of experience).Utilize HTML, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript, and Ajax (3+ years of experience).Apply model-driven architecture and development principles for Appian-based BPM applications.Conduct requirements analysis, Object-Oriented design patterns, and UML.Incorporate non-functional design aspects into code components.Engage in the quality assurance process for testing applications, including functional and non-functional testing.Address Appian application performance issues and application tuning.Perform in-depth code reviews and ensure adherence to security and architectural standards.Collaborate with multiple business and technical teams.Implement BPM solutions leveraging Appian platform 17.x and above.Qualifications:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Solid working experience in agile project delivery.Moderate knowledge of Word, Excel, and productivity improvement tools.Highly skilled solution implementer with experience integrating Appian with various technology platforms.High-level understanding of products that make up reference architecture and constraints.Additional Information
