This is a part-time Appian Developer role. Job Summary Description: What You Will Do: Design, implement, and validate new features and enhancements using latest Appian BPM technology Work closely with development team and analysts to produce efficient applications according to customer requirements Description: What You Will Do: Design, implement, and validate new features and enhancements using latest Appian BPM technology Work closely with development team and analysts to produce efficient applications according to customer requirements Contribute to internal Appian development best practices and design guide Participate in Scrum framework; contribute to user story refinement, sprint planning, and retrospective events Perform peer reviews and contribute to software testing Required Skills: Bachelors Degree 2 years of Appian Development experience Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies Strong communication skills (oral and written) Experience with Relational Databases and SQL Desired Skills: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field 4 years of full enterprise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) delivery 1 years of experience with DevSecOps technologies such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Selenium 2 years of experience with hands-on development using mainstream coding languages such as Java/.NET Experience with Scripting languages such as Python Experience with Cloud-based Technologies such as AWS Education and Experience Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop Appian applications and integrate with other COTS products - Create various methodology artifacts including design/ technical approach document, installation instructions, Visio diagrams, etc. - Augment Appian apps with enhanced code as needed (java, SQL, etc.) - Collaborate with other developers as and when required - Participate in customer and team meetings to support various program tasks including design review, stage gates, technical roadmap, production troubleshooting including performance issues, etc. - Work closely with Lead Developer/Scrum Master to ensure completion of key tasks including deployment, code baseline and merge, version control, etc. - Work throughout the entire project life cycle (requirements review, technical design, development, deployment and maintenance) - Develop BPM specifications to integrate with legacy applications leveraging web services, messaging and enterprise service bus - Contribute toward developing solution guidelines, standards and best practices Required Skills: - Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - 3 years of experience in Appian, building solutions and delivering mission critical applications, leveraging Appian platform 17.x and above - 3 years' experience in HTML, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, Java Script, Ajax - Strong business analysis, model-driven-development specifically to produce analysis, design, component and deployment models for Appian based BPM applications - Experience addressing Appian application performance issues and application tuning - Experience configuring Appian, debug, unit, systems, integration test and document new applications and enhancements including, but not limited to forms, reports, underlying logic and interface components on development projects as assigned - High level understanding of various products that make up reference architecture and constraints - Appian development Process models, SAIL forms, CDT's, records, reports, Appian security architecture, web API's, business analysis Desired Skills: - SQL, Java - Agile Development - Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients - Experience supporting sales and business development - Experience with financial management Years of Experience: 3 Years Certifications: Appian A Score L2 or HIgher Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree MAXIMUS Introduction Since 1975, Maximus has operated under its founding mission of Helping Government Serve the People, enabling citizens around the globe to successfully engage with their governments at all levels and across a variety of health and human services programs.
