Electrical drafter or designer who will work with an experienced team of electrical drafters, designers, and engineers on design packages for pipeline facilities and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and other software programs in a fast-paced project-centric environment.General Responsibilities:Coordinate with engineers to develop design packages including equipment layout plans, conduit and cable schedules, hazardous area plans, grounding plans, and wiring diagrams and schematics.Read and interpret process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to gather the electrical design responsibility for power and control points.Utilize advanced tools and features such as external references, dynamic blocks, functions, and formulas in AutoCAD and other software programs to create drawings and documents.Work on multiple projects at a time within a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload to deliver design packages on time under tight deadlines.Understand and adhere to internal and external drafting and design standards and procedures to deliver high quality work.Required Education/Certifications:Formal training in AutoCAD with certification or degree or minimum of four years professional full-time AutoCAD experience.Required/Preferred Experience:Working in an office environment coordinating between drafters, designers, and engineers in multiple design disciplines including civil and piping.Past or current work experience in an engineering or similar firm within the midstream oil and gas or similar industry.Preferred experience working in a 3D environment within AutoCAD and/or experience using Bentley MicroStation to create electrical design packages.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
