About the Role
As a UX Researcher II, your purpose is to lead and conduct user research to inform product design decisions. You will analyze data, generate insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences. Your work will directly impact the development of intuitive and user-friendly products.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand research questions.
Understanding user needs and use cases through a variety of research methodologies.
Identifying and addressing the right problems when researching.
Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into findings and insights.
Making recommendations to improve the user experience and usefulness of products.
Working closely with designers to iterate and test solutions.
Identifying gaps where data is needed and working with the business to fill them.
Keeping up to date on market trends and competitors.
Using research software (e.g. Qualtrics, Dovetail, Tetra Insights) to expert level.
Requirements
Have a range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and advanced analysis skills.
Possess working experience with senior stakeholders to decide and plan a user research roadmap and communicate findings and recommendations.
Be able to apply a range of methods such as contextual interviews and usability testing to suit the research question, project stage and timescales.
Experience working collaboratively with colleagues in a wide range of roles and involving product teams and other stakeholders in the research process.
Be able to use analytics data to triangulate research findings.
Have good experience of user research planning and execution.
