Project Engineer
to join one of many development and production programs. The Project Engineer at Bell is responsible for managing the scope, schedule and cost for multiple engineering efforts. This position will oversee the successful execution of project deliverables by understanding project requirements, building and maintaining the project Integrated Master Schedules, managing cost and schedule performance and supporting a multi-disciplined team through the complete development lifecycle for product introduction. This position is located at Bell’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.What you’ll be doing as a Project Engineer:Responsible for program scope execution and final product delivery.Oversee the on-time delivery of high-quality contract deliverables for all program requirements.Lead cross functional teams to execute technical program efforts through the entire lifecycle of product development including managing cost, schedule and program milestone achievement.Develop program-level metrics and supporting databases to provide progress/status for development, build, sustainment, and project planning.Develop manpower and budget forecasts for the program management.Strategic Planning: Support the development of future capability product roadmaps and incremental project features to align with customer needs.Develop supplier SOWs and applicable Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRL).Skills You Bring To this Role:Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or project management. Position levels vary depending on years of experience.Ability to collaborate with multiple support functions (engineering – all disciplines, manufacturing, procurement, finance, IT, technical logistics, quality, contracts), customers, suppliers, and partners from different locations.Previous project execution responsibilities including cost and schedule management.
