Camp Hill, PA 17011The Major Bridges P3 Initiative is part of the PennDOT Pathways Program, which is designed to bolster PennDOT’s ongoing effort to address the state’s growing backlog of replacement and rehabilitation needs for major bridges that are approaching the end of their useful life. By allowing for the use of a P3 delivery model, PennDOT will be able to replace or rehabilitate major bridges around the state more quickly, achieve significant savings for taxpayers, and minimize the impact on the traveling public.The initiative includes the rehabilitation or replacement of select bridges—grouped in packages—and all associated infrastructure investments associated with that specific bridge, including roadway and approach work, and improvements to nearby impacted roadways.The Bridging Pennsylvania Constructors team is led jointly by S&B USA Construction and FCC. The consortium members have a 20-year long track record of successful project delivery with PennDOT, having worked in all PennDOT districts.POSITION SUMMARYProvide support by leveraging automation and Microsoft O365 cloud technologies. Provide technical support to all areas of computer related including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of desktops/laptops, peripherals, software, telecommunication equipment and services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSharePoint administration.Establishes and maintains the network (users, distribution groups or directories, security, etc.).Loads and performs upgrades to software through remote management software.Manage network equipment such as firewall, rules, LAN switches, Wi-Fi AP specifically in Cisco Meraki products.Train users in orientation using devices and computers as well in the operation of the network and on specific software applications.Maintains systems and executes processes that manage computer files, databases, data security and disaster recovery.Teaches basics of systems to staff as required.Troubleshoots and maintains hardware and software on a preventative as well as a corrective basis.Monitors network system logs for firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spam applications.REPORTINGHR Manager, Design Build Project ManagerEDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSAssociate degree in computer systems or related field or equivalent combinations of training and related experience.At least 5 years’ experience.Experience on Microsoft Office 365 components including Exchange online, compliance policies, Teams, Microsoft phone system, OneDrive, Office defender AV, antispam monitoring/mitigation, and Intune autopilot for end point activation/deactivation.Good knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP stack.Good understanding with remote worker operations and construction gadget setups hardware and networks at remote project.Certification in Microsoft technologies or in Office 365, preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods.May require driving occasionally for up to 2-5 hours.Minimum physical exertion such as walking, lifting, standing for long periods, bending, or reaching may be required.Requires visual ability to perform tasks: preparing and analyzing data, plans, outlines, viewing a computer, and extensive reading.Requires the ability to physically operate standard office equipment i.e., laptop, phone, keyboard, mouse, etc.
