DescriptionAlaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is searching for a qualified Developer to join our team in support of a new long-term project. This is a fully remote role, and the duties and responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:Work within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software (JIRA, Confluence) to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.Develop secure and reliable and resilient set of software applications and/or services whether refactoring or re-hosting existing applications or developing new applications at the Government's request.Assist in designing and developing System Architectures and secure, reliable, and resilient software applications/services.RequirementsMinimum Candidate RequirementsCandidate must be a US Citizen.Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain common access card (CAC).Candidate must possess 6+ years' experience with the following:System/software design and development.Application development.Programming within Agile SDLC.C++ programming/development.Desired Skills, Knowledge And Abilities (not Required)Experience working within the Agile SDLC Framework.Experience with US Air Force IT Projects.Bachelor's degree.Experience with legacy application logic (e.g., mainframes, etc.).Experience with HTML.Experience with Python.About Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR)Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) maintains an outstanding work environment that includes competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, and challenging work assignments with opportunities for advancement/career growth.
