What You Do.

Implement and drive a testing strategy focused on continuous quality and testing efficiency improvement.

Train and assist agile teams in proper functional test case development for functional testing.

Collaborate with our testing leads and vendor partners to align on features/functionality to be developed and establish test cases to validate functionality in standard and edge cases.

Support the test automation strategy and its implementation to improve product quality.

Provide regular direction, mentoring, and coaching to our agile teams and testing leads.

Work with the appropriate teams to ensure that data and environments are consistently available for testing.

Stay current in software testing technology, methodology, measurement, performance, and security trends.

Collaborate with agile teams to understand their testing needs and implement the same.

Ensure completion of a testing strategy and plans for each project, which will include functional, non-functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Manage activities to develop manual test cases that can be transitioned to automated scripts after successful manual execution of functional/regression and system tests.

Research and communicate to senior management the latest information on software test process improvements.

Review risk and test case prioritization of team, and make clear and thoughtful tradeoffs of prioritization in test planning activities.

Review support materials and documentation as provided by others and collaborate with support or documentation teams on customer documentation.

Your Education and Experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science

2+ years work experience with Zephyr Scale

3+ years work experience with Jira

3+ years work experience with Agile methodology

Experience/Technologies:

Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to manage a broad range of deliverables in an ever-changing environment.

Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to comprehend documentation clearly and effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Detail oriented; demonstrated ability to handle multiple strategic projects and priorities with efficiency and accuracy.

An inherent drive to solve problems, collaborate with others and mentor team members.

Strong presentation, verbal and written skills as proven with well-written technical, project, client and related communications and presentations.
