Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR is seeking a Traffic EIT to support our fast-growing Transportation Planning Section. They will be expected to perform transportation planning and related tasks in support of traffic simulation and capacity analyses, development or assistance in the development of traffic forecasts from regional travel demand models, evaluate multimodal transportation systems, and provide detailed and summary results in graphics, reports, and presentations. They must also have a strong interest in the planning and design of complete streets, bicycle and pedestrian planning, and design. Excellent communication skills are highly desired for public and client presentations and document preparation.Work as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of traffic forecasting, analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects.Conduct operational traffic analysis using a variety of modeling tools, ranging from highway capacity software to complex micro simulation models; analyze everything from isolated intersections and roundabouts to urban arterials and freeway segments.Perform other duties as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringEIT or ability to obtain.
