Work Schedule :This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM plus an after hours on call rotation. Applicants hired into this position canwork hybrid from WI or IL. This position will require frequent onsite work in the Madison, WI area. Network Infrastructure Security Engineer to:Design, install, and support network services including
LAN/WAN services at over 140 sites across Wisconsin and northern IllinoisCisco ACI Data Center fabricCisco DNA Center
Manage, support, and install Cisco Wireless Network Infrastructure, including Cisco access points, wireless controllers.Configure and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls. Including IPSEC site-to-site VPNs and Global Protect client firewall.Maintain and support network load balancer services.Analyze network performance and capacity and make appropriate recommendations for network expansion/reconfiguration.Monitor and maintain Azure Network services.Troubleshoot network services using industry standard monitoring and packet capture tools.Use your routing protocol skills to troubleshoot and design large scale multi region networks.At UW Health, you will have

Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field RequiredTwo (2) years combination of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degreeBachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field PreferredWork Experience
Demonstrated success designing, configuring, and supporting network and security infrastructure RequiredDemonstrated success troubleshooting and resolving problems in a large technology environment Required3 years of relevant experience working in critical infrastructure Preferred2 years of relevant experience supporting network and security infrastructure PreferredLicenses & Certifications
