We are dedicated to cultivating a culture of inclusivity, employee engagement, and internal brand consistency. Continuous improvement through trend analysis and compliance reporting aligns our business goals with operational needs. Data-driven insights are pivotal in achieving these objectives, and the Senior Data Analyst will spearhead data collection and analysis to uncover key insights.Responsibilities:30% -
Analyzing data from various sources such as employee feedback surveys, training records, and performance metrics to identify trends that inform our strategies in employee engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Learning initiatives.20% -
Developing visually engaging dashboards and presentations to effectively communicate organizational performance, DEI progress, and internal brand effectiveness. These visualizations will showcase successes and highlight areas for improvement, promoting transparency and accountability.20% -
Leveraging predictive analytics and advanced techniques to automate reporting processes, validate data accuracy, and provide real-time insights to enhance decision-making within the L&E department.10% -
Collaborating cross-functionally to design and administer surveys and evaluations that capture diverse perspectives and experiences. Analyzing survey results to derive actionable insights that drive program improvements.10% -
Continually seeking to improve business acumen with continuous learning and following industry trends and participating in spreading that knowledge with colleagues throughout the organization.10% -
Continuously refining and optimizing data analytics processes and models to align with evolving priorities, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends to position our organization as a leader in Learning, Employee Engagement, and DEI.Required Education:Bachelors Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Instructional Design, Computer Science or related field. Additional 5 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree.Required Relevant Experience:5 yearsRequired Knowledge:• Proficient in Python, SQL and Microsoft Excel.• Proficient in at least one visualization tool (Tableau, webFOCUS, PowerBI or similar) and familiarity with the others for creating reports and dashboards in data analytics tools.• Familiarity with concepts in Data Engineering to assist in maturing data pipeline at SECU.• Self-starter and solution oriented.• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently, set and meet deadlines.• Ability to track through long-term projects to completion, self-regulating to meet goals and deadlines.Desired Knowledge:• Knowledge of evaluation and survey design and delivery.• Knowledge of tools such as Workday Peakon, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc.• Critical thinking to identify business needs and create solutions.• Communication to work with IT teams, vendors and learning developers.Physical Requirements:Sitting for prolonged periodsTelephone for prolonged periodsComputer for prolonged periodsSECU provides equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or other classification protected by law.DisclaimerState Employees' Credit Union reserves the right to fill this role at a higher/lower level based on business need.
