Job Description
Assists in the development of test cases and identifying test data.Executes test scripts, documents proof of testing, and reports test results in the Project Management software tool JIRA.Attends Refinement meetings and provides feedback on testing scenarios, requirements, and level of effort.Assists in identifying potential quality issues per defined processes and escalates potential quality issues immediately.Participates in end-to-end and user acceptance testing. Reviews and validates test results by comparing the expected results to the documented test results.Assists in the detection and documentation of software failures, anomalies, and defects.Assists with the activities of one or more Medicaid Technology Development (MTD) project teams as assigned.Assists in sizing defects so they can be distributed evenly among the team and subject matter experts.Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the project.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.Great attention to detail and follow up.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Desired Qualifications:Advanced degree.Professional experience in a healthcare field, Medicaid eligibility, or Medicaid program support.Professional experience testing software development projects.Professional experience in the creation, execution, and validation of system user acceptance testing.Professional experience working on an Agile project team.Required Attachments:Please upload the following documents in the Resume/Cover Letter section.Detailed resume listing relevant qualifications and experience;Cover Letter indicating why you are a good fit for the position and University of Louisiana Systems;Names and contact information of three references;Diversity Statement (required for all Faculty positions and any Staff position of Assistant Manager and higher).Applications that do not include the required uploaded documents may not be considered.Posting Close Date
