Gallatin College seeks qualified individuals to provide non-tenurable level instruction and/or related functions. The department or program search committees or hiring authority will review and evaluate the submitted application materials. Duties and Responsibilities
Provide an active learning environment four to five days per week in a face-to-face classroom environment.
Attend weekly coordination meetings.
Maintain a minimum of four office hours per week on the Bozeman campus.
Provide assistance to students in a drop-in help lab at least one hour per week.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
For Developmental Math courses: a bachelor’s degree in the discipline.
For core level coursework (Contemporary Mathematics and College Algebra): Master’s degree required in Mathematics or a related academic field.
Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department.
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
For Developmental Math courses: a master’s degree in the discipline.
Prior teaching experience.
Understanding of the Two-year College Mission.
Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
