Your positive, professional, and consistent personal interactions make AvalonBay a great place to work.The RoleThe Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating all construction and administrative aspects of the project bid package. This includes overseeing each vendor’s progress to ensure contract compliance. Key responsibilities involve organizing and maintaining project engineering files related to subcontracting and bid packages, including documentation of plans, specifications, changes, clarifications, and as-built records. Additionally, the Project Engineer will facilitate vendor estimates and proposals, prepare change orders, process requisitions, track purchases, and compile as-built packages and O&M manuals.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry, with a comprehensive understanding of construction site improvements.
