The IT Systems Administrator ensures the seamless operation of SII’s computer systems and networks. They will maintain and update computers, provide tier 2-3 technical support, implement security measures, manage user accounts, and handle system upgrades. This role is crucial in maintaining the IT infrastructure to meet the organization’s needs.Duties & Responsibilities

System Management:Install, configure, and maintain computer systems.Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.Own the End Point Management, and lead endpoint-focused projects.Network Security:Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures as defined by Cybersecurity and the Systems Engineer.Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.Respond to and mitigate security incidents.Compliance:Ensure IT systems comply with CMMC and NIST standards.Perform duties as defined by Cybersecurity after regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance.Implement security measures and protocols to protect data integrity and confidentiality as defined by Cybersecurity.Ensure documentation is up to date and comprehensive.Assist in crafting and enforcing policies related to endpoint functionality.Systems Administration:Administer Microsoft Office 365 (GCC environment), Microsoft Intune, Defender, and other tools.Administer different systems including digital signage, access control, SMS notifications, etc.Ticketing System:Manage and resolve IT support tickets using Kaseya.Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users.Document and track issues, resolutions, and system changes.User Support:Provide technical support and training to staff.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.Maintain user accounts and permissions.Diversity & Inclusion

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications.Basic knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.Strong knowledge of CMMC and NIST compliance requirements a plus.Experience with Kaseya or similar ticketing systems.Proficiency in network and server management.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator role or similar position.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.Security:

U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). May be required to obtain a security clearance.
