We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Ambassadors.What you get to do:Plan, coordinate, and provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department.Work closely with the Director to identify, recommend and implement best practices to improve the efficiency of all IT resources while providing exceptional guest experience.Manage IT staffing including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.Develop a plan of action to document and maintain documentation on all IT systems and processes.Enforce all IT policies and procedures.Manage/review the asset management process for IT hardware, software and equipment.Consistently practice safe work habits including but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting, driving, and reporting of unsafe situations.Manage the procurement of all hardware and vendor services.What it takes to succeed:High school diploma or equivalent.At least 18 years old.Have a valid state Driver’s License.7 years of technology-related experience supporting enterprise-wide technology solutions or 3 years related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.Knowledge of Cisco and Avaya hardware and software preferred.Be a transformative leader with strong interpersonal skills.Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.Proven track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans.Demonstrate exceptional customer service orientation and strong project management skills.Able to manage to a labor budget.Strong understanding and knowledge of network hardware such as Ethernet and peripheral equipment.Proven ability to be safety conscious in the performance of duties and be aware of other employees’ safety as well.Able to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.Able to climb ladders and be comfortable working at heights up to 150 feet.Comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor.Comfortable working around animals.Able to work in all weather conditions.Able to sit for extended periods of time.Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools and to handle other computer components.Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays.The perks of the position:Paid Time Off.Complimentary Park Tickets and Passes.Park Discounts on Food and Merchandise.Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.401K Retirement plan.Voluntary Insurance.Life Insurance.Disability Benefits.Tuition Reimbursement.Dependent and Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts.Employee Assistance Program.Legal Assistance Plan.EEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
