Develop and oversee compliance to loss prevention measures to mitigate risk of theft or pilferage.Develop and oversee compliance to transportation security measures for high-risk areas, or high-risk cargo.Develop and oversee compliance to physical security plans for facilities to ensure the safety of personnel and security of cargo.Liaise with regional security vendors for guard services.Develop and ensure compliance to post orders for security vendor personnel within the Region and ensure global alignment between Regions.Develop and maintain the company’s security vision, objectives, strategies, policies, and procedures to continuously improve and grow the company’s security culture.Develop and oversee compliance to programs that ensure a safe and secure workplace, including near miss programs, security audits, security orientations, theft investigations, etc.Drive continuous improvement of security behaviors and outcomes by delivering methodologies and tools to effectively mitigate identified risks.Develop and oversee compliance to systemic process to collect data and analyze the causes of incidents and near misses and track trends and generate required reporting.Drives accountability for performance through company leadership, and associates.Oversees and guides the security and loss prevention programs and drives leading performance indicators through security dashboard and metrics.Implements initiatives to reduce and prevent any potential security breach, pilferage and/or theft within Crane’s facilities and transportation network.Visit and assist jobsites and work areas to support implementation of physical security requirements in accordance with company standards, security hazard identification and control plans.Ensure all facilities are setup with appropriate physical security measures such as access controls and camera systems per company guidelines and standards.Develop and deliver security training programs to engage employees and encourage the proactive reporting of security concerns.Establish investigation policies, procedures and workflows and lead security incident investigations.Develop and maintain security incident reporting and investigation procedures, emergency response plans, and crisis management protocols per company guidelines and standards.Collaborate with local authorities/law enforcement and emergency services to ensure readiness for incidents.Investigate all allegations of employee criminal misconduct, security breaches, and internal control violations, and provide required reporting of such incidents, including code of conduct violations to appropriate management personnel.Conduct and/or coordinate various controls and security awareness training for Crane’s operations.Conduct periodic security surveys of all facilities, and submit recommendations to appropriate management personnel.Monitor and report on cargo theft trends and prevention measures within the Region and/or Industry.Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of facility and transportation security measures.Coordinate and direct Regional Security Managers to ensure globally alignment to security policies and procedures.Propose, explore and implement security initiatives based on data analysis and feedback.Develops policies, programs and initiatives to improve the culture of security.Oversees evaluation of current security processes within the region to determine areas of improvement.Recommend and develop new and advanced tools, methods and systems to ensure ongoing improvements in the facility and transportation security throughout Crane’s facilities and transportation network.Define and measure compliance to standard operating procedures.Regular attendance at work, on-time, as-scheduled is required.Performs all other duties as assigned.TRAVELMinimum travel of 25 - 50% will be required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.Must be able to travel throughout facilities within the region as required to conduct audits, inspections and investigations.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
