( Big Data ) @ Alpharetta, GATerms of Hire: Full time.Salary: $110,000–$165,000/ YR + BenefitsJob DescriptionCLIENT is seeking a talented Data Architect who will innovate and engineer solutions in the area of database technology. We need individuals who are enthusiastic about applying bold new ideas to solving real-world data problems. The Data Engineering team is actively engaged in the ongoing database engineering process, partnering with development groups and providing deep subject matter expertise input as stakeholders to design reviews, and as an advocate for bringing forward and resolving customer issues.5+ years in data warehousing, preferably within a data platform5+ years in ETL with semi-structured and unstructured data sets7+ years of experience with several programming languages such as Python, Scala, or JavaExperience with Spark streaming and SQLCoding skills in the procedural language for at least one database engine a must (PL/SQL, T-SQL etc.)Experience in micro-service architecture/designExperience in Test Driven Development (TDD), and/or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plusExperience with DAG workflow scheduler systemsAbility to pick up new languages and technologies quicklyExperience with NoSQL data stores such as Dynamo DB, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDBExperience in data warehousing with Hive and a scalable store such as Snowflake or RedshiftWorking with one or more streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm, or AWS KinesisExperienced in various Clustering and Sharding architecturesExcellent SQL and DB performance tuning skillsExperience in Kubernetes will be a plusStrong leadership skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levelsStrong understanding of distributed system principles of load balancing, scaling, in-memory vs. diskAbility to work efficiently with source code management systems like GIT and SVNFamiliar with DevOps - automated deployment toolsCLIENT Minimum QualificationsBachelor's DegreeRelevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related fieldTypically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant ExperienceFour-year college degree and 8 or more years, and/or a high school diploma with 10 or more years professional experience in full life cycle design and development to include IT architecture, banking industry experience, and understanding client requirementsCLIENT Preferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeComputer Science or Information SystemsCertification in IT ArchitectureYou Will Enjoy:An opportunity to be a part of a great culture, an awesome team, a challenging work environment, and some fun along the way!Apply today to learn more and be part of our Growth story.All applications will be kept strictly confidential and once shortlisted, our team will be in touch with you for further discussions.Department: ScoutThis is a full time position
