Sr. Front End Engineer w/Angular and Azure (Remote)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Front End Engineer with experience in Angular 16+, Azure and Javascript, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.Location: Tampa, FL, USA. Remote is also allowed within the US.“You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.”Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Angular 16+, Azure and JavaScript.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality organization and automation.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to company standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Ensure that all software solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (6+ years of experience).Possess a strong background in Angular 16+, Azure and JavaScript.Having experience in Reconciliation (BFS Payments) and Cards & Payments is a plus.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Show proficiency in English both written and spoken.Exhibit strong collaboration and communication skills.Display the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Have a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.Nice to have - .Net 6+ SQL backend dev experience or interest.Salary and compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $90K – $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Benefits:
