DVS is looking for a

ServiceNow Platform Administrator

to join our team and this will be a remote position. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Position Summary:

The Mid-level ServiceNow Platform Administrator will have experience in DevSecOps. The role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting our ServiceNow platform with a focus on security, compliance, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in ServiceNow administration, with the ability to design and implement ServiceNow solutions to support our business processes in a DevSecOps environment. The Mid ServiceNow Platform Administrator will work closely with internal stakeholders, such as business analysts and developers, to ensure the platform meets their requirements and delivers value to the organization.

Responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and support the ServiceNow platform with a focus on security, compliance, and automation.

Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules, workflows, scripts, and interfaces to meet business needs in a DevSecOps environment.

Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues and escalate to ServiceNow technical support as necessary.

Conduct platform upgrades and patch management with a focus on security and compliance.

Participate in ServiceNow platform testing, including planning, execution, and documentation of test results.

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure the platform meets their requirements in a DevSecOps environment.

Provide technical support and training to platform users with a focus on security and compliance best practices.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow features and functionality with a focus on DevSecOps.

Participate in ServiceNow community forums and user groups to share knowledge and best practices in DevSecOps.

Contribute to the development of ServiceNow policies and procedures with a focus on security, compliance, and automation in a DevSecOps environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

3-7 years of experience in ServiceNow administration, with experience configuring and supporting ITSM, ITOM, and/or other modules.

ServiceNow Administrator Certification preferred; additional ServiceNow certifications preferred.

Strong technical skills, including experience with scripting, web services, REST API, and database management.

Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including knowledge of SOAP, JSON, and MID Server.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on security, compliance, and automation in a DevSecOps environment.

Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and best practices, including experience with tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker.

Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders in a DevSecOps environment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills with a focus on security, compliance, and automation in a DevSecOps environment.

Experience with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies preferred.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
