Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers seamlessly transitions solutions from design to construction through the collaborative efforts of Design Engineering, Design Management, Proposals, Estimating, and Integrated Project Controls. Our construction-focused engineering approach involves a multidisciplinary team working together to maximize value for clients by improving schedules, controlling costs, and minimizing risk on infrastructure projects.Location
This position is based in one of our offices, in Lenexa, KS; Lone Tree, CO or Bellevue, WA.Responsibilities
Foundation design, subsurface exploration, and construction engineeringRepair geotechnical reports and specificationsReview and check design calculationsQualifications
Ability to work full-time in office during the Spring semester (approximately January - May)Pursuing a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related degreeKnowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job doneGood written and verbal communication skillsBe willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assignedOther Requirements:
Regular, reliable attendanceWork productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environmentPerform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.Base Compensation:
